What comes in a subscription box?

 All My Sensory Journey Subscription  boxes are thoughtfully curated with children's ages and developmental stages in mind, covering all areas of growth through fun, engaging, and stimulating resources and toys that the whole family can enjoy. Each box includes high-quality sensory items and toys designed to engage babies and effectively stimulate brain development. You will receive six items per box. While the contents may vary due to stock availability, we are constantly researching and evolving our ideas to ensure they meet the same learning objectives. Parents and carers can also access a downloadable sensory play guide for each box, providing ideas on how to use the resources to support and enhance their child's development.

How does My Sensory Journey Subscription work?

Customers can subscribe to My Sensory Journey for up to a year. After purchasing your first box, you’ll receive a new box every three months, with payment taken from your card beforehand unless you opt to pay upfront for the entire subscription. The number of boxes delivered depends on the first box purchased. If you start with the 0-3 month box, you will receive a total of four boxes. Alternatively, you can begin your subscription at 3-6 or 6-9 months, with your final box being the 9-12 months box. Your subscription will conclude once the 9-12 month box has been delivered. You are free to cancel your subscription at any time.

I have just ordered a subscription box, how long will it take to be shipped out?

My Sensory Journey Subscription boxes are created and shipped within 14 days of your initial order, and then every three months thereafter until your subscription ends or is canceled. The 14-day timeframe applies to the first box due to stock control, though it is often dispatched within the first 7 days. Subsequent boxes will be shipped 2-4 working days after each subscription payment is received - Please see our shipping policy for more information. 

Can I change the date for my subscription boxes to be sent?

Certainly. Just send an email to info@sensoryboxsurprise.co.uk with your subscription number, full name, address, and the preferred date for your next box to be sent. We will then adjust the subsequent delivery dates accordingly (three months after your specified date, unless stated otherwise). Alternatively, you can log into your account and update the dates yourself.

I have paid for gift wrap for a box from My Sensory Journey Subscription package, will the other boxes sent later be gift wrapped?

No, if you paid for gift wrapping, it only applies to the first box. If you would like all the boxes in your subscription (the total will depend on the age box you started with) to be gift wrapped, please email us, and we can arrange this and process the payment.

I have received an email to say my next subscription box has been sent out but the email states the age of the first box ordered. Why?

Rest assured, the correct box has been sent out. Our system automatically repeats the same box description in the subscription email as the one you initially purchased, and we are working to resolve this issue. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to email us.

Where do I find the downloadable QR code for the sensory play guide in the Sensory Journey Subscription boxes?

The downloadable QR code can be found on the Sensory Box Surprise card included inside the sensory box.

How do I assess the Sensory Play Guide with the downloadable QR code?

Simply use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code. When the camera detects the code, tap the prompt that appears on your screen to access the play guide. If you encounter any issues, please feel free to email us or reach out via our online chat.

How do I purchase the full subscription on the website?

To purchase the full subscription, click on "My Sensory Journey Subscription." In the purchase section, select "My First Year Subscription," then choose either "4 payments every 3 months" or "full pay upfront" by clicking the arrow next to the payment options. Once you’ve selected your preferred payment method, add the package to your cart and proceed to checkout. If you have any issues, please feel free to email us or chat with us through our online system.

We have moved house/ I have new bank details how do I change my details so I can still receive the subscription package?

You can log into your account at any time to update your details. If you encounter any issues with updating your address or changing your bank details, please email us at info@sensoryboxsurprise.co.uk. If a box has been sent to the wrong address and returned to us, we will contact you to arrange payment for the additional delivery costs to send the box to the correct address. We can only resend the box once we have received the original parcel back. If the parcel is not returned, you will need to pay for a replacement box to be shipped to the correct address.

Can I cancel my Subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account or by emailing us at info@sensoryboxsurprise.co.uk. We will send you a confirmation email once your cancellation has been processed. Please ensure you cancel your subscription before the next payment is taken. If the payment is processed before cancellation, you will need to return the box to receive a refund. See our refund policy. Can I buy My Sensory subscription boxes individually as a one-time payment?

Yes, you can purchase any of My Sensory Journey Subscription boxes individually for special occasions like Christmas, Easter, a baby shower, or as a treat for someone special. Each box includes a downloadable sensory play guide. To make a one-time purchase, select "one-time purchase" at checkout. You will only receive the single box you ordered. While your email confirmation may mention the age of the box and indicate a recurring subscription in the description, rest assured that you are only purchasing one box, not subscribing to a recurring service. When will I get a refund for a purchase I have sent back? 

Once we receive the returned item (in the same condition and original packaging) and it is approved we will email confirmation. See our refund policy for more details.

Why does My Sensory Journey Subscription shipping email state the wrong box?

If you began with the 0-3 month box as part of your subscription, all subsequent shipping emails will indicate that the 0-3 month box has been sent, as this was your initial box. Please be assured that the correct box (your next scheduled box) will be sent to you.
